Sauce

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Main Mix

  • 3 cups cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the casserole later.
  2. Cook Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add the bite-sized chicken pieces. Cook them until lightly browned on all sides, about 5–7 minutes, seasoning with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder for flavor.
  3. Prepare Creamy Sauce: In a separate saucepan over low heat, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, softened cream cheese, chicken broth, and Italian dressing mix. Stir continuously until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  4. Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, mix the cooked rice and the cooked chicken. Pour the creamy sauce over this mixture and stir until everything is well coated and evenly combined.
  5. Assemble Casserole: Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour the chicken and rice mixture into it. Spread the mixture evenly. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
