For the Cocktail
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 2 ounces El Mayor Tequila Blanco
- 1/2 ounce Cointreau or triple sec
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass Rim: Mix together ground cinnamon and sugar in a small shallow dish. Dip the rim of your glass into maple syrup, then into the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat it thoroughly. Set aside.
- Add Ice: Fill the prepared glass with ice cubes to chill the cocktail once poured.
- Mix the Cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, combine the apple cider, El Mayor Tequila Blanco, Cointreau or triple sec, lime juice, and maple syrup. Add a few ice cubes to the shaker to chill the mixture as you shake.
- Shake and Strain: Shake the cocktail shaker vigorously until well mixed and chilled, about 15 seconds. Strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with ice.
