Main Cake:

Streusel Topping:
- 1/3 cup brown sugar

- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
Glaze (optional):
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 teaspoons milk or cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla and sour cream.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix just until combined.
- Make the streusel: Mix brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, flour, and cold butter until crumbly.
- Layer the batter: Spread half the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle half of the streusel, add remaining batter, and top with the rest of the streusel.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes.
- Optional glaze: Whisk powdered sugar and milk, then drizzle over the cake.
