Description

These Blueberry Swirl Yogurt Bites are a delicious and healthy no-bake snack featuring creamy Greek yogurt swirled with a naturally sweetened blueberry sauce. Perfect for a kid-friendly treat or a refreshing guilt-free snack, these bites are easy to make and freezer-friendly.

Ingredients

Scale

Yogurt Mixture

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Blueberry Swirl

  • ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • Silicone mold or mini muffin tin with liners

Instructions

  1. Prepare the blueberry sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the blueberries, lemon juice, and water. Cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the blueberries burst and release their juices. If a thicker swirl is desired, add the cornstarch and stir until the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  2. Mix the yogurt base: In a mixing bowl, stir together the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
  3. Assemble the bites: Spoon a small amount of the yogurt mixture into each cavity of the silicone mold or lined mini muffin tin. Add a small dollop of the cooled blueberry mixture on top of each.
  4. Create the swirl effect: Use a toothpick or skewer to gently swirl the blueberry sauce into the yogurt, creating a marble effect.
  5. Freeze: Place the mold in the freezer for at least 2 hours or until the bites are fully set.
  6. Store and serve: Once frozen, remove the bites from the molds and store them in an airtight container in the freezer until ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • Flavored yogurt can be used, but adjust the amount of sweetener accordingly as some flavored yogurts may be sweetened.
  • Raspberries or strawberries can be substituted for blueberries for different flavor variations.
  • For easy removal of the bites, use a silicone mold or line the muffin tins with paper liners.
