Ingredients
Scale
Dry Ingredients
- 1 18.3 ounce box Brownie mix
- ½ cup All-purpose flour
Wet Ingredients
- 2 Large eggs
- 5 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp. Water
Add-ins
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat and prepare baking sheet: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside to ensure the cookies don’t stick and bake evenly.
- Mix dry ingredients: Using a stand mixer or hand mixer, combine the boxed brownie mix with the all-purpose flour until the mixture is evenly blended.
- Add wet ingredients: Add the eggs, vegetable oil, and water to the dry mixture. Mix thoroughly until you achieve a smooth batter.
- Incorporate chocolate chips: Pour in the mini chocolate chips and fold them into the batter so they are evenly distributed.
- Scoop onto baking sheet: Using a large cookie scoop, place generous scoops of batter onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing each about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading.
- Bake: Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until they are set and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool: Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet or a wire rack to a desirable temperature before serving.
Notes
- For softer cookies, bake closer to 8 minutes; for firmer edges, bake closer to 10 minutes.
- You can substitute mini chocolate chips with nuts or white chocolate chips for variety.
- Allow cookies to cool completely if you prefer them to hold their shape better.
- Store baked cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
