Ingredients
Scale
Fudge Base
- 1 can (14 ounces) Eagle-Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 8 ounces Milk Chocolate, broken into pieces
Mix-Ins & Topping
- 1 package Cadbury Crème Eggs (typically 8 eggs)
- Pastel Sprinkles of choice for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Line an 8 x 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides to easily lift out the fudge once set.
- Melt Ingredients: In a heavy saucepan over low heat, add the sweetened condensed milk. Break up the milk chocolate pieces and add them as well. Stir continuously until the milk chocolate fully melts and combines smoothly with the condensed milk to form a uniform mixture.
- Transfer Mixture: Remove the saucepan from heat and pour the melted chocolate mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
- Add Cadbury Crème Eggs and Sprinkles: Press the Cadbury Crème Eggs gently into the chocolate fudge mixture in the pan. Sprinkle pastel sprinkles generously on top for decoration.
- Chill to Set: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight, until firm and set.
- Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into small one-inch squares and serve. Enjoy your creamy, festive Cadbury Crème Egg fudge!
Notes
- Use a heavy saucepan for even heat distribution while melting the chocolate and condensed milk.
- Be careful to melt the chocolate on low heat to prevent burning or seizing.
- Press the Cadbury Crème Eggs gently into the fudge to avoid breaking them up.
- For firmer fudge, chill overnight.
- This fudge is best enjoyed within a week if stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Pastel sprinkles add a festive touch but can be omitted or substituted as desired.
