Scale
Ingredients
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- ½ cup milk or dairy-free alternative
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce (plus more for drizzling)
- 1–2 teaspoons sugar or sweetener (optional)
- Ice cubes
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- Brew and cool the coffee: Brew a strong cup of coffee using your preferred method and allow it to cool to room temperature, or chill it in the refrigerator to speed up the process.
- Mix caramel and coffee: In a glass, add the caramel sauce and sugar or sweetener if desired. Pour in the cooled coffee and stir thoroughly until the caramel is completely dissolved.
- Add ice and milk: Fill the glass with ice cubes, then pour in the milk or dairy-free alternative. Stir well to combine all the flavors evenly.
- Garnish and serve: Top the drink with whipped cream if using, and drizzle additional caramel sauce over the top for an extra touch of sweetness. Serve immediately for best flavor and refreshment.
Notes
- For a richer, creamier iced coffee, substitute half-and-half or a splash of heavy cream for the milk.
- You can prepare this drink ahead of time by combining all ingredients except ice and refrigerating for up to 2 days.
- To enjoy a smoother, less acidic flavor, try using cold brew coffee instead of regular brewed coffee.
