Pizza Sauce:
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce (plus more for dipping)
Cheese:
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Pepperoni:
- 24 slices pepperoni
Seasonings:
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Optional:
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
Greasing:
- nonstick cooking spray or butter (for greasing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
- Prepare the dough: Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Spread about 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce onto each triangle, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle each with mozzarella cheese and place 3 slices of pepperoni on top.
- Roll up the dough: Starting from the wide end, roll up each triangle and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the tops with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and Parmesan if using.
- Bake: Bake for 12–14 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted. Let cool slightly before serving with extra warm pizza sauce for dipping.
