Description

  • 1 pound ground turkey

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and diced into ½-inch cubes

  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Others:

  • ¼ cup chicken broth or water
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the Skillet: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook Turkey: Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
  3. Add Ingredients: Add onion, garlic, sweet potatoes, seasonings. Pour in chicken broth, cover, and cook until sweet potatoes are tender.
