Ingredients
Scale
Main Ingredients
- 1 pound potato gnocchi
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Garnish
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the gnocchi dish.
- Sauté garlic and spinach: Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet or saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the chopped spinach and cook until wilted.
- Add chicken and Alfredo sauce: Mix in the cooked shredded or diced chicken breast. Pour in the Alfredo sauce and stir until all ingredients are evenly combined. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Add gnocchi and combine: Add the potato gnocchi to the skillet and gently stir to coat the gnocchi evenly with the sauce and chicken mixture.
- Top with cheese: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheeses evenly over the top of the gnocchi mixture.
- Bake the dish: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and is bubbling. For a golden, crispy top, broil the dish for an additional 2–3 minutes if desired.
- Rest and garnish: Remove from oven and let the bake rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a fresh finish.
