- Combine Ingredients: In a medium-sized bowl, mix together 1 cup mayonnaise, 1 cup finely chopped dill pickles, 1 tablespoon dill or parsley, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, and optionally, 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
