Description

These Crescent Chicken Roll Ups offer a flavorful and easy-to-make grilled beef burger recipe enhanced with pub cheese, beer caramelized onions, and crispy bacon on toasted buns. Perfect for a quick meal with a gourmet twist, these burgers combine juicy patties with rich toppings for a delicious, satisfying sandwich experience.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef Patties

  • 1½ pounds ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon burger seasoning blend

Toppings

  • 4-6 tablespoons pub cheese spread
  • Beer caramelized onions (see Note for preparation suggestion)
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked

Buns

  • 4 burger buns (brioche, kaiser rolls, or pretzel rolls recommended; toasted)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef Patties: Place the ground beef in a bowl and add the burger seasoning blend. Mix thoroughly with your hands until well combined, then form the mixture into 4 even patties.
  2. Grill the Patties: Preheat your grill (or grill pan/skillet) to medium-high heat. Grill the beef patties for 7-10 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  3. Assemble the Burgers: Remove the patties from the grill and place each on the bottom half of a toasted bun. Top each patty with a generous tablespoon of pub cheese spread, a spoonful of beer-caramelized onions, and 2 slices of cooked bacon.
  4. Finish and Serve: Place the top half of the bun on each burger. Serve immediately, with your choice of additional toppings or sauces as desired.

Notes

  • For beer caramelized onions, cook sliced onions slowly in a pan with butter or oil, adding beer towards the end, and reduce until onions are soft and caramelized.
  • Use brioche, kaiser, or pretzel buns for the best texture and flavor.
  • Cook bacon until crisp for a nice contrast in texture.
  • Burger seasoning blend can include salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika for enhanced flavor.
