  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In the crockpot, mix broccoli, onion, garlic, carrots, broth, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours.
  2. Puree Soup: Blend part of the soup for creaminess. Alternatively, blend half and return to the pot.
  3. Add Cream: Stir in cream and cornstarch slurry. Cook for 20–30 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Melt Cheese: Reduce heat, add cheddar gradually, and stir until smooth. Serve hot.
