Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- Combine Wet and Dry: Mix milk and sour cream. Alternate adding dry and wet mixtures to batter.
- Bake: Divide batter, bake for 28–32 mins, then cool.
- Make Frosting: Beat butter, add sugar gradually, then cream, vanilla, and salt.
