Description

Indulge in the delightful fusion of peach pie and flaky croissant muffins with these Peach Pie Cruffins. Easy to make and bursting with fruity sweetness, they are perfect for a quick dessert or a special treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Dough:

  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough or puff pastry

Filling:

  • 1/2 cup peach pie filling (store-bought or homemade)

Seasoning:

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Finishing Touches:

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
  • nonstick spray or butter for greasing muffin tin

Instructions

  1. Prep the Dough: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a standard muffin tin. Unroll the crescent roll dough into a large rectangle and pinch the seams together to form a solid sheet.
  2. Add Filling: Spread the peach pie filling evenly over the dough, making sure not to overfill. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the peach filling.
  3. Roll and Shape: Starting from the long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log. Cut the log in half lengthwise to expose the layers, then roll each strip into a spiral, cinnamon-roll style.
  4. Bake: Place each spiral into a muffin cup, cut side up. Brush the tops with melted butter. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  5. Finish: Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

  • For a shortcut, use peach preserves instead of pie filling.
  • You can also add a touch of almond extract to the filling for a nutty twist.
  • Serve warm for best flavor and texture.
