Ingredients
Scale
Liquid Ingredients
- 4 cups lemonade
- 1 750ml bottle of white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
- 1 cup lemon flavored rum
Other Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons superfine sugar
- 1 orange, cut into slices
- 1 Granny Smith apple, cut into thin slices
Instructions
- Mix liquids and sugar: Pour the lemonade, white wine, lemon-flavored rum, and superfine sugar into a large pitcher. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved, ensuring the mixture is smooth and evenly sweetened.
- Add fruit slices: Add the orange slices and thinly sliced Granny Smith apple to the pitcher. Stir gently again to combine the fresh fruit flavors with the liquid base.
- Chill and serve: Cover the pitcher tightly and refrigerate for about one hour to allow the flavors to meld beautifully. Serve the sangria over ice for a cool, refreshing drink.
Notes
- Use a dry white wine like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio for a crisp and clean flavor.
- If superfine sugar is unavailable, you can substitute granulated sugar but stir well to ensure complete dissolution.
- Letting the sangria chill longer will intensify the fruit flavors and sweetness.
- Serve with additional fresh fruit or mint sprigs for garnish if desired.
- Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of sugar or using a flavored lemonade.
