- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
For the frosting:
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk, as needed for consistency
Instructions
- Prepare the dough: Combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit until foamy, then add melted butter, egg, salt, and flour. Knead until smooth, then let rise.
- Make the peach filling: Cook peaches, sugars, cornstarch, spices, and lemon juice until thickened. Cool.
- Assemble the rolls: Roll out dough, spread with butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Add peach filling, roll up, slice, and place in a baking dish to rise.
- Bake: Preheat oven, bake rolls until golden brown.
- Prepare the frosting: Beat cream cheese, butter, vanilla, add powdered sugar and milk until creamy.
- Finish: Spread frosting on warm rolls before serving.
