Description

Steak & Shrimp Noodles is a delicious surf and turf stir-fry dish with tender flank steak, succulent shrimp, and flavorful Asian-inspired sauces, served over noodles for a satisfying meal.


Ingredients

Rice Noodles:

8 oz

Flank Steak (thinly sliced):

1/2 lb

Large Shrimp (peeled and deveined):

1/2 lb

Soy Sauce:

2 tablespoons

Oyster Sauce:

1 tablespoon

Hoisin Sauce:

1 tablespoon

Sesame Oil:

1 tablespoon

Vegetable Oil:

1 tablespoon

Cornstarch:

2 teaspoons

Garlic (minced):

2 teaspoons

Fresh Ginger (grated):

1 teaspoon

Red Bell Pepper (thinly sliced):

Snap Peas or Broccoli Florets:

1 cup

Green Onions (sliced):

Optional:

Sesame Seeds and Lime Wedges for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles: Prepare the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Mix the sauce: In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and a splash of water; set aside.
  3. Prepare the steak: Toss the sliced steak with cornstarch and salt in a separate bowl.
  4. Cook the proteins: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet, cook the steak for 2–3 minutes, then set aside. Cook the shrimp for 2–3 minutes, then set aside.
  5. Stir-fry the vegetables: In the same skillet, stir-fry garlic, ginger, bell pepper, and snap peas for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Combine everything: Return steak and shrimp to the skillet, add noodles, and pour the sauce over. Toss to combine and heat through.
  7. Serve: Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and lime wedges, if desired.

Notes

  • Udon or spaghetti noodles can be used as substitutes.
  • For a spicier version, add chili flakes or sriracha.
  • Drizzle with extra hoisin or soy sauce for added depth.
