- 6 large sticks of celery
- 1 garlic clove, peeled
- 1 garlic clove, halved (unpeeled)
- 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/4 tsp salt, plus more to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Toast the bread: Toast the bread slices until they are golden and crisp. Once toasted, rub each slice with the halved unpeeled garlic clove to infuse a subtle garlic flavor into the bread.
- Prepare the celery topping: Cut the celery sticks into small pieces. In a bowl, finely chop the peeled garlic clove and combine it with the celery pieces. Add the extra virgin olive oil, lime juice, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and a pinch of black pepper. Stir everything together until well mixed.
